Embedding the Hub in the school - Return Serve

29th April 2015

Return Serve starts in week 3 of the school term, on Thursday May 7th 2015. Because of having embedded myself within the school, I am often able to go up on our Monday assemblies and talk to the kids. Last Monday I was able to go up and talk about the program. I had a tennis racquet with me to provide a visual cue for the students, and I directed some information regarding how to sign up, to the parents. Some parents were then able to attend my Get Connected morning tea following the assembly and ask me more about the program. Return Serve has capped the program at around 35-50 depending on how many helpers we get from the community. We already have 15 sign ups, and four teachers and parents who are willing to help, which is great news! For further information pelase contact Community Hub Leader, Jane Muil on 07 3386 5333.
