Roxburgh Rise Primary School Hub

Roxburgh Rise Primary School Hub

About this Hub

The Roxburgh Rise Primary School Hub was established to build on our community’s strength and capacity. The Hub is about connecting people, sharing knowledge and skills and supporting families with raising their children.

Our Community Hub is located at the front of the school next to the office. Parents are welcome to attend all Hub activities and drop in from 2:30pm Monday to Thursday to meet and have coffee while they wait to pick up their children. Local information is made available through the Community Hub Leader who is available to answer any questions. We hold a parent forum once a term where parents can have a say and find out what is happening across the school.

Activities

  • Community Centre Parent Drop in, Monday-Thursday afternoons
  • English Class (EAL) for adults
  • From Garden to Table: Gardening and Cooking Program
  • Maternal Health Nurse Visits
  • Playgroups (Open, Assyrian/Chaldean and Sri Lankan groups)
