Q&A: Returning to place based playgroup

Thank you Sonia for sharing your insights to returning to playgroup. In Victoria we can’t wait to have our parents back on the school site. In preparation for this I appreciate your reflections on engaging with parents before opening. In particular your advice to consider limiting the programs play activities experiences. This will enable us to encourage the children in the cleaning tasks before we transition to a new experience. When we plan our groups we take the time to consider our objectives with the families, but now with limited numbers, we will try to ensure we give priority to our local participants.
